The landlord is responsible for paying agency fees and the deposit registration.

Registration of the deposit with My Deposits: £40.00 + VAT

The tenant is responsible for paying the following charges:

Preparation of the tenancy agreement £150 + VAT

Reference charge is £25.00 + VAT per person

Tenants will be required to lodge a deposit equivalent to 6 weeks’ rental (8 weeks if there is a pet) to cover any possible damages, dilapidations or unpaid rent. All deposit monies will be held by us in accordance with the terms and conditions of the My Deposits Scheme.

The landlord is responsible for providing an inventory and condition report at the beginning of the tenancy. This is prepared by an independent inventory clerk and paid for by the landlord. At the end of the tenancy, the inventory will be checked by the clerk and a report prepared as to the condition of the property. The tenant will be liable for the cost of the checkout report.
